DIRECTIONS FOR CLEANING TOILETS AT CHIEF JOE

PARKING LOT:

On Fridays, groomers will have all of the supplies in the trailer (pinesol, Clorox, two thermoses with hot water, gloves, paper towels, bucket and brush.) It is best to do the cleaning as soon as you get to the parking lot since the groomers may be finished early on some Fridays. Try to be there by 1:00 P.M.

Mix about a cup each of pinesol, Clorox and one thermos of hot water in the bucket (same proportions as at the cabin).

Pick the toilet straight up and take it out of the outhouse and down into the parking lot.

Be sure to use the gloves and brush.

Clean the toilet with the cleaning solutions.

Clean both inside and outside of the toilet.

Pour the excess cleaning liquid over the toilet.

Rinse the toilet with the second thermos of hot water and wipe dry with paper towels.

Put the toilet back into the outhouse.

Put the supplies back in the trailer.

CABIN:

In the basement, to the left of the outside door, under the window, you will find a bucket, rubber gloves, brush, Clorox and pinesol. Paper towels are upstairs in the kitchen.

Pour about 1 cup each of the pinesol and Clorox into the bucket.

Take the gloves, bucket and brush upstairs and fill the bucket up with hot water from the “Snow Water” on the wood stove.

Take some paper towel and put on the gloves,

Then go to the outhouse and lift the toilet straight up and take outside on the path.

Thoroughly wash the toilet with the brush and hot liquid both inside and outside.

Wash off the brush and throw the excess liquid over the toilet.

Get another partial bucket of water and rinse the toilet.

Then wipe it dry with paper towel and put back in the outhouse.
