Membership

You do not have to be a member of our Club to ski any of the trails we maintain, Chief Joseph Pass, Lake Como, or other areas, but we certainly hope you will join. The trails are all free to use, but they are not free to maintain. Grooming ski trails costs money. A day of trail grooming at Chief Joseph Pass costs around $800. This works out to about $7 per skier per day.

This season, we face a financial challenge that necessitates a slight adjustment in our membership fees. The funding we usually receive from a grant by Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks is uncertain and has been decreasing over the years. In light of this, individual memberships will be $75, and family memberships $150. These rates more accurately reflect the actual costs of grooming our trails. However, we continue to offer a $25 membership, to keep in line with our commitment to accessibility or for those only using the trail once or twice this season. While skiing remains free, these fees are akin to a trail pass, contributing directly to the maintenance and quality of our trails.

Individual ($75)  –  Family ($150)
Light ($25)
